Deadlines and delivery
The delivery time is about ten days. It is not contractual. Therefore, a delay in delivery cannot lead to the cancellation of the order or any request for damages or penalties.
S.C.E.A DOMAINE DU GRAND JACQUET undertakes to deliver the ordered articles as soon as possible by reliable logistic means. The goods travel at the risk of the recipient.
The products are delivered to the address indicated by the consumer on the order form. It is required to check the condition of the packaging of the goods upon delivery and to report any damage to the carrier on the delivery slip, as well as to S.C.E.A DOMAINE DU GRAND JACQUET within 48 hours from the receipt of the package containing the ordered products.
Any anomaly concerning the delivery (damage, missing product compared to the delivery order, damaged package, number of broken bottles ...) must be indicated on the delivery order in the form of "handwritten reserves", accompanied by the signature of the customer. After this period, no claim can be taken into account.
S.C.E.A DOMAINE DU GRAND JACQUET cannot be held responsible for loss, damage or failure to deliver an order due to force majeure (such as natural disasters, strikes, road accidents). These cases are in addition to those usually retained by French jurisprudence.
Right of withdrawal
Un droit de rétractation est offert à l’acheteur en vertu de l’article L.121-20 du code de la consommation. A réception de la marchandise, l’acheteur dispose d’un délai de 14 jours francs pour retourner le produit à S.C.E.A DOMAINE DU GRAND JACQUET et en demander le remboursement. Lorsque le délai de sept jours expire un samedi, un dimanche ou un jour férié ou chômé, il est prorogé jusqu’au premier jour ouvrable suivant. Les produits endommagés après la livraison ne seront pas repris. L’acheteur qui use de cette faculté aura l’obligation de procéder, sous sa responsabilité et à ses frais, au retour de la marchandise commandée dans les chais du vendeur. Lorsque la marchandise a été vendue au sein d’un lot promotionnel, l’intégralité de celui-ci devra être retournée au domaine Le Grand Jacquet du fait de l’indivisibilité de la commande et du prix d’ensemble facturé. Le remboursement de l’acheteur interviendra dans les 30 jours de la restitution.
Transfer of ownership
S.C.E.A DOMAINE DU GRAND JACQUET reserves the property of the sold goods until their complete payment by the purchaser (law n° 80-335 of May 12, 1980).
Archiving
